Due to the liberalization of Bulgaria’s financial legislation, Penev & Partners has developed substantial experience providing legal advice to both foreign financial companies and banking institutions, as well as to the Bulgarian Office of Tax Administration. Penev & Partners advises major international investment banks and their clients in relation to their activities on the Bulgarian market such as ABN Amro, EBRD, Macquarie Bank, HSBC, etc. Penev & Partners has represented Deutsche Bank London and Societe Generale, as well as other investment banks on a project by project basis. The firm has actively participated in the voucher privatisation process, advising both foreign and local clients in their respective transactions.
